Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Star Wars Story with Ewan McGregor

At the time of writing this, A Star Wars Story with Obi-Wan Kenobi that could star Ewan McGregor is still up for much debate.
If these rumors are true I could not be more excited. There, of course, is much criticism over George Lucas' prequel Star Wars Episodes 1-3 movies. While I agree with most fan opinion of too long, too silly, too political, etc. The one thing that stands out most to me is the development of the Obi-Wan character. McGregor did a masterful job taking that character through the evolution of being a Jedi in training to becoming a Jedi Master.
At the premiere of McGregor's latest film - Christopher Robin - interviewers asked McGregor if he would be interested in rejuvenating his role as Obi-Wan. His answer was an emphatic yes. Here is a clip of the interview:

Next is where things get iffy. The other day, I came across the following video. It's classified as an early "concept" of A Star Wars Story starring Obi-Wan portrayed by Ewan McGregor.

I joked with my friends that this must be legit as it uses the Lucas Film logo! This video captivated me. The music, the anger, the loneliness. Right down to the epic background sound of Anakin yelling "I hate you" from the end of Episode 3.
If this movie does happen, it is logical that it would be about the time period between Episodes 3 and 4 where Obi-Wan is playing the hermit who is looking over Luke. During this time he would be battling his own personal struggles of the Empire murdering all of his fellow Jedi Knights. I would expect his struggles around trying to communicate with Qui-Gon Jinn based on Yoda's hint at the end of Episode 3. This may make it a slow paced movie, diving deep into Kenobi's personal struggles that could contain some excellent character development.
IMDb currently has an empty page around an "Untitled" Star Wars/Obi-Wan Kenobi movie. Let's hope this happens!
